It was last min stay driving home from Fort Myers Beach and decided to take a few more vacations day. We fell into this little jewel of heaven. It is not fancy but very well maintained and clean. Staff were awesome. The view beautiful, just step out of your room and the beach is breathtaking.
Have been a guest at the Blue Water Beach Club since 1966. I was a senior in high school on vacation with my family. In 2011 my grand son joined my wife and I becoming 5th generation to be here. Too bad previous owners sold to an individual who is destroying a lovely island landmark.
I could not have asked for a better stay. I have been a returning customer for many years now. The rooms are very clean and have a retro yet still modern flavor to them. Access to the beach and a quiet friendly atmosphere is in abundance here! Highly recommended!
The rooms are clean and comfy. The property is right on the beach. Loved the pool and the staff was beyond friendly. It has a quaint feel to it. We were so happy that we picked the Blue Water for our vaca. The views were amazing. We truly wanted to stay.
Getting married at Blue Water Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
