This was a great place for our family trip to Acadia National Park! The hotel had everything we needed and more. The location was great, easy to get to the park or into downtown. The Island Explorer has a bus stop at the hotel.
My husband, daughter, and I all loved our stay. The staff was exceptional and really made us feel welcomed and the property is in such a beautiful location. We stayed in the oceanside building and loved our views. The pools were great, and we took a boat tour that left from the hotel.
We stayed in the Portside building with absolutely beautiful views of the bay. The staff was extremely helpful. The Bistro Restaurant food and service were excellent and our server, Adriana was extremely helpful and friendly. Can’t wait till we come back!
Getting married at Atlantic Oceanside Hotel & Event Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
