You can get delicious food, great service, and a beautiful view here. A bit pricey, yes, but you get what you pay for. The house White Zinfandel is excellent and a good price for a bottle. The NY Strip Steak is excellent (along with the truffle fries).
A grand hotel. Unfortunately, there are several other properties under the same management in the immediate area so there's no staff on site. The nearest staff in the event of an issue is a half mile away. We never encountered any problems in our five day stay so I can't comment on how quickly they respond.
Amazing dreamlike rooms. Courteous service with a smile. A gorgeous breathtaking balcony view from our massive room with a comfortable four poster bed, and a Jacuzzi big enough for 2 was just so surreal. We will definitely be back. I cannot wait.
Unique hotel, the rooms are designed so that you feel like you're on a boat. Rooms are a little small but charming. Gigantic TV in the room and a beautiful view of the lake. Easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
Getting married at Bay Point at Mill Falls
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
