Nick the GM made our Anniversary trip extra special. He’s a very genuine person who we r blessed to have met on our journey. We really enjoyed our stay. The idle hour wine bar within walking distance is fantastic. The Grove lake side dining is fantastic and restaurant at the Marina is fantastic.
Overall very happy with our stay! Room was ready early and it was clean! Bed was comfy. Good location away from the main strip but still close to everything! Decent pool and decent beach. Staff was friendly and nice fire pits outside. Would stay again!
I have stayed at Peak retreat this year about three times myself. I booked a family member here and another friend here for a nice day for them to enjoy for their anniversaries. I’m a business professional. I used to live in Tahoe and I come back to visit About every couple months. The staff has been amazing.

Getting married at Beach Retreat & Lodge at Tahoe
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
