We had a wonderful experience at Edgewood Restaurant in Tahoe while celebrating a birthday with family. The atmosphere felt truly luxurious yet warm and cozy, which made the celebration even more special. The service was exceptional - attentive, professional, and very welcoming.
Glorious location. Right on the lake. Beautiful views and beautiful grounds. I would say that compared to other places I have stayed, for the price you are paying you would expect more attentive service, and perhaps some better amenities. The rooms are nice.
This is the most magical & memorable hotel our family has ever stayed in!!! My husband and I took our 2 teen daughters for a quick winter stay and it will now be an annual trip. Gorgeous room with fireplace, unbelievable views, soaking tub, oversized shower and a balcony.
Merlina and Craig were absolutely outstanding! We stayed here for a night during a charity car cruise and needed assistance with 30 vehicles / teams arriving and sorting luggage. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had the best experience. Rooms were fantastic, super clean, comfortable and the view, 10/10.
Getting married at Edgewood Tahoe Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
