From the reviews
We had our ceremony here in September of 2018. The backdrop is gorgeous, Roger was friendly and accommodating and the venue was affordable. Parking is limited, especially on a busy weekend but a space is reserved for bride, groom and officiant.
I can't say enough good things about this vendor! Roger was amazing to work with, very quick to respond, flexible, on time, completely understanding with multiple COVID postponements, and made sure everything was in order for the wedding day (the only thing that was forgotten was setting up the mic, but just quickly…
We had our wedding ceremony at Lakeside Beach. It was perfect that we could have just our ceremony there and then move indoors to a separate venue for the reception. Working with the team at The Arch was incredibly easy. They made the planning process feel seamless.
My daughter had her ceremony here in September. You are 100% paying for the view and it is beautiful. Communication with the staff leading up to the wedding was fine. The staff the day of was okay..but we do have a few big complaints. They started taking away the chairs 30 minutes before our time was up..
Getting married at Weddings at Lakeside Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
