If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! We had our wedding at the Black Point Inn and it completely exceeded our wildest expectations. Sam is absolutely exceptional. She is professional, warm, informed, patient, and so helpful.
We visited the Inn 34 years ago and loved it. Even although the facility has reduced in size and the amenities are fewer (no outdoor, heated, salt water pool, no indoor pool) we still enjoyed our stay greatly. The food and service were wonderful. The staff members were very kind, helpful and pleasant.
This place is absolutely beautiful. I work for another inn that belongs to the same owners and I felt I was treated really well. The building is incredible with a view to match. The staff were really helpful and pleasant and I would absolutely go back for a special occasion.
Was there for the wedding venue. Beautiful place with welcoming services. Foods were excellences from appetizer all the way to desserts. Servers were beautiful and full of energies. A bit isolated, but a piece of quiet and place to yourself. The weather a bit uncooperative, but thats mother nature. 😇
Getting married at Black Point Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
