We don't live all that far from the hotel, but wanted a nice getaway for Super Bowl weekend. We saw we could get a room with a 2-person jacuzzi and the off-season pricing made it more compelling. I've stayed at the Ritz-Carlton a few times and they could learn a thing or two from this place.
A fantastic time was had at this location this place transports you to a different time filled with antiques and 1920s charm. The staff was all amazing. The food at the Victorian Tavern was delicious. The rooms were clean and very attractive looking. Special shout out to Steven the bartender who was amazing.
Spent a romantic weekend here with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The attention to detail was incredible. With this big hotel chains all over we sometimes forget what the hospitality industry is all about. The service and perks of the hotel are great and their beachfront location is unbeatable.
Just a completely amazing experience. The concierge floor and amenities were wonderful. The staff and service are excellent, food and drinks top notch, and the atmosphere is very unique. All that and we were able to walk right out to the ocean. We did not want our stay to end!
Getting married at Boardwalk Plaza Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
