There are a so many options of places to stay along Moonstone Beach, but we are SO happy we chose to stay at Cambria Beach Lodge. The room and shared spaces are so beautifully thought out, the care and thoughtfulness of the staff is incredible, and the location is astounding (we loved the rooftop and the easy access…
Beach front. The friendly staff and options for onsite beverage/in room purchase. Bikes are available, restaurants are less than a mile away and recommendations are at the ready. Its so reasonable in price for all that you get. They even have 2 ev chargers here. The perfect boutique motel. We fell amin love with it
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cambria Beach Lodge. The rooms were very well appointed with a balance of laid back beach charm and upscale finishes. The staff were amazing, especially Bryce! The location was ideal for enjoying sunsets, walking Moonstone Beach boardwalk and walking to a few places to eat.
Getting married at Cambria Beach Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
