Lovely! Moonstone Beach is right across the street! It's quiet and gorgeous!!! If you love rocks it's covered in beautiful rocks and sea glass. Lots of what looks like moonstone but is chalcedony. The hotel is so adorable and very clean! The bedding was beautiful and clean, it looked brand new.
Plenty of parking and well maintained property. Many rooms are handicap accessible. The rooms with the view are awesome and the beach with boardwalk are right across the street. No pool at the time, but the hot tub was nice and relaxing! (sister hotel offered pool).
This cozy and quaint hotel blends in the vibe of Moonstone Beach. 1st time staying in Cambria overnight and loved the cottage like room that has a fireplace and view of the ocean. You could barely hear the ocean when the windows are closed which is the perfect soothing noise.
Beautifully designed with a wonderful location. I don't like that the bathroom doors are pocket doors but that seems to be all hotels lately. Walking distance from great food and great food. Had a great chat with fellow travelers around a fire pit that easy to turn on and off. The perfect place to unwind.
Getting married at Fogcatcher Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
