Pay a little extra and book in advance to get a second floor ocean front zoo. Even though I live four blocks for the ocean, staying here was very nice as we have five or six times. There are two excellent restaurants walking distance away. Also, if you have an EV, you can charge for free.
Right next to Sea Chest which is awesome! Partial ocean view was spectacular. Ellie was a wonderful host and we really enjoyed the hot tub and overall service!
Moonstone Landing hotel was quaint and comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable. One of the best highlights was the amazing view—it was absolutely breathtaking! The atmosphere was peaceful, and we felt right at home. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the overall charm of the place.
My husband and I completely fell in love with this little inn. Beautiful view of the ocean and rooms were very clean. I had never been to Cambria but found the town very quaint and charming. Moonstone Landing had exactly what we were looking for and will stay here again in the future. Would highly recommend.
Getting married at Moonstone Landing
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
