If you've been there you know... it's a great location (walking distance to the beach - some rooms with oceanviews on the waterfront) with friendly and helpful staff. We were there for a conference and the meeting rooms, dining hall, food, and lodges were all clean, setup well, and ready for us.
Great place with an uplifting atmosphere. Close access to the beautiful beach and proximity to some great hiking trails. Retreats are well done and have the potential to be life-changing. Staff are friendly and serve with great hearts.
Second time we have gone, Went for a couples retreat with one hope fellowship and had an amazing experience. Loved waking up and looking at the beach in the mornings, seeing the Elks was one of our highlights.
The establishment was wonderful! The servers were awesome! We have gluten allergies and other dietary needs. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and well fed! Even though 100s of people had probably stayed in the room before us, the room felt pretty clean and the grounds were well kept.
Getting married at Cannon Beach Conference Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
