From the reviews
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of hosting our wedding at the Cape May Convention Center, and it was an absolutely magical experience from start to finish. From the moment we stepped foot inside this stunning venue, we knew this was the perfect choice for our special day. The location is unbeatable.
Pat was amazing. The only things I can suggest is to make sure the air is turned up in lobby for cocktails. It got very hot in the afternoon. Filled with guests. My niece had a beautiful wedding and reception here.
We had an 380 person Indian wedding at the Cape May Convention Hall and choosing this venue was the best decision we made! The beautiful location on the beach, the large windows overlooking the ocean, and the kindness of Kacie and Rachel sold us after our 1st visit.
I was there for the Audubon Society's fall migration festival. It's a very nice venue, the exhibition hall was well set up for the festival. The location overlooking the beach can't be beat, very scenic. It's not a large convention center but it's the right size in the community.
Getting married at Cape May Convention Hall
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
