From the reviews
Love the area. Quiet, never really crowded when it is busy. Just people enjoying the beach and being cool to one another. Update 8/23: it looks like they did some repairs and re-painted the benches, tables, and covers.
Great local beach! We stayed about fifteen minutes away and had a nice time coming out here. Sand was well groomed and soft, water was fun to swim in, and it wasn’t crowded. Bonus: tasty Korean place pretty close 👍🏻
It's a very clean beach but on a hot day, it's very crowded and can be difficult to find a place to park which makes this small beach very crowded. It does have showers outside of the bathrooms and picnic tables too. So all around it makes for a fun day.
Pretty cool retro roadside stop. Makes me think of what road trips in the 60's must have been like although it has modern facilities. The style of covered picnic tables made you want to have a picnic right out of your ice box in the back of the station wagon. Facilities were clean and nice access to bay beach.
Getting married at Carrabelle Beach Park
Carrabelle Beach Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
