Highly recommend Casa Ybel Resort. The rooms are very clean, staff is so polite & helpful, & the grounds are well maintained. Many restaurants near by that were very good. There were families with various ages of kids. I would love to come back someday. Great Vacation!
We visited in February 2026. The resort is fully open. Nice pool and restaurant next to the beach. Beautiful view, great weather friendly staff. Would highly recommend!
Beautiful resort and facilities. Two bedroom units are two story- and all baths/beds are on the second floor. So lots of steps if you’re coming from outside as the unit is on the 2nd floor. Issues with beach chairs- none were available for the week as we did not know we needed to call the week before to reserve.
We have owned and have been coming down for 37 years. The location and amenities are superb. The ocean front views you cannot beat! It's a new staff and some need to be trained to be more service oriented and professional. Other than that, it's the best place on Sanibel Island to stay!!
Getting married at Casa Ybel Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
