Decided to book a last minute little vacay and this place was absolutely fabulous. The cottage was super clean and the staff was absolutely amazing. The sandy lake beach was right by the cabins. I cannot say enough about this place. It definitely exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be returning.
We enjoyed our stay. The view of the water was very peaceful, and lots of ducks or birds that resemble ducks lol, which I could just sit and watch. We also eat at the restaurant and it was wonderful also. If I changed anything about the cabin, it would be brighter lights, but that's just me getting older.
This property has been maintained very well over the years. Love, renting out with the family. Yes, it's older, but has so much charm and love the restaurant and gift shop just a few steps away on the lake. The regular rooms are big enough to put a queen size air mattress in the kitchen area to make 3 beds.
Getting married at Cedar Mills Marina & Resort

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
