Nice place overlooking the water. Our group rented two cabins next to each other - one bed/bath cottage, and two bedroom with loft. Both were quite nice. The larger one with loft had lots of space for 6 people. The master bathroom has a large jacuzzi bath. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and dishes and such.
We found Flowing Wells by chance. The cabin, in a double gated community, was right on the lake. Very nice views from the porch. The accomodations were nice. We will return a few times a year to destress in a secluded little get away.
My husband and I have stayed in a one bedroom cabin and we love it!! This past weekend I was part of a girls get-a-weekend. We (nine of us)stayed in the Sunset Village Lodge.We had a fabulous time. We called and let them know the coffee maker was not working well. They brought us a new coffee maker that worked great!
The only place you'll ever want to come to for your vacations. Absolutely perfect location, the beds are very comfortable. The cabins are beautiful, and the staff is friendly.
Getting married at Flowing Wells Resort & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
