We had our micro-wedding celebration at Chart House, and it was truly a perfect experience. From start to finish, the team made us feel incredibly special, ensuring our celebration was intimate and memorable. The highlight of our evening was undoubtedly our server, Bob.
We invited family from out of town to meet us at the Chart House for an early dinner on a Monday night. It was busy but not full; we had a relaxing meal with attentive servers who were exceptional in paying attention to our needs.
Lily was incredible!!! A great conversationalist and kept our water glasses filled and gave great recommendations on food and drink! I came here for a joint birthday celebration and had the best time!
George was incredible! He was our host- we showed up a late for a reservation and he was still very fast to accommodate and help us make a plan so we could celebrate our anniversary at the one of the best spots in Alexandria! He even brought us drinks since it was a packed night.
Getting married at Chart House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
