I had planned my wedding in New York all the way from Arizona! Chateau was one of the venues on our list. Being that we were so far away we had to have many zoom meetings and phone conversations! But Taylor was extremely attentive in every question and/or concern we had.
Had my wedding here in October 2017, staff was excellent, the food was probably one of the best guests said they had (pakistani halal option). The staff made the bride (me) and groom feel so welcomed and comfortable through the ENTIRE event.
What an amazing venue. We recently got married here and it was everything we could have ever dreamed off and more. Thank you everyone at chateau la Mer for making our special day an amazing memorable day for us and our guests. The waterside venue, staff, managers, chefs etc!!! The food was delicious.

Getting married at Chateau La Mer
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
