My wife and I got married at John Anthony's in Babylon which is now the Piermont, we were celebrating our 30th anniversary and my wife called and spoke to Jackie and she spoke to the owner Steve and he had us come for a food tasting and we were treated like royalty..
From the very first interaction through the end of our wedding night, our experience at this venue was nothing short of amazing. The entire staff was wonderful to work with, but Jackie and Evelyn truly stood out as the stars of the show.
We had our wedding at The Piermont and it was PERFECT! The staff is unbelievable -- Brittany, Luis, and Katie were all wonderful. Their attention to detail is fantastic. If you have food allergies (I am gluten-free, dairy-free, nut allergies, mainly vegan) they will take amazing care of you.
I just recently attended a reception here over the weekend. It was AMAZING. From the views, to the service, to the food. All of it exceeded my expectations of a New York wedding. When we arrived we enjoyed specialists drinks, appetizers, and a solo musician on the main floor.
Getting married at The Piermont
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
