From the reviews
We biked to this in and were impressed with the grounds and beautiful view out over the water. The large porch is perfect for outdoor dining. I ordered the Caesar salad with lobster and it was quite good and ample. The hubs ordered the fried fish sandwich.
Absolutely fabulous! The location is so special and the trip to reach the island is a wonderful part of the experience. We enjoyed drinks and small bites on the porch overlooking the grounds with Casco Bay in the background. Our host / server was David, who couldn't have been more hospitable and accommodating.
I had a 50 person wedding at the Inn and it was the most spectacular wedding venue. The food, staff, and experience were extraordinary. Nothing beats it.
This is the Casco Bay Island experience I was looking for. So charming. The staff was the best I have experienced in a long time, and they really made my stay special. Food and beverage was excellent at every meal and every drink.
Getting married at Chebeague Island Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
