We can’t say enough for Tia and the team at Chequessett. We planned our wedding for a solid 3 years due to covid. Tia was accessible by email and phone every step of the way to help us navigate our ever-changing plans. She was such a comfort throughout the planning process.
We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than the Chequessett Club. The setting overlooking Wellfleet Harbor was absolutely beautiful and made the perfect backdrop for our day. Our guests are still talking about the view and how special the atmosphere felt.
Chequessett Club can truly be defined as the wedding venue gem of the Cape. Tucked away, laid back, gorgeous views, and not nearly as over-priced as some of the other Cape options. Our guests have complimented the venue over and over. Tracy and her staff were amazing to work with.
My husband and I had our wedding there in June. If you are looking for a laid back, beautiful beach setting for your wedding or event- this is it. Reven, the event coordinator was great! She was helpful and kind and her overall attitude calmed my nerves and made me so happy we chose this venue.
Getting married at Chequessett Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
