From the reviews
Took an October trip with my adult son and wound up at Top Mast on the hook just a couple miles (10 minutes) from downtown Provincetown. I had stayed closer to town across from the beach weeks earlier for much more $$$. At Top Mast we climbed stairs to the second floor.
We have been coming here over 10 years renting rooms and the houses. The location is perfect. Very easy public transportation into Provincetown. Rooms are clean and the staff very good. You can spend the day with the water/beach right outside your room or venture into the nearby National seashore.
Our Seaview room made our stay here love at first sight. There are several beachfront buildings, ice and beverage machines, on site parking, a café on the property, bar service, outside table tennis, indoor pool, sauna, hot tub - we did use the pool and hot tub. Premises are very clean and well maintained.
Right on the beach with the balcony overlooking it. Beautiful sunsets, comfortable rooms. The restaurant is great, too. There's a bus every hour that takes you into Provincetown. So convenient.
Getting married at Top Mast Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
