Joe the general manager is a fantastic person. Always smiling and always there if you need anything. Loved the ocean facing room. It was clean, comfortable and bang for the buck. The racing car souvenirs were a nice touch. Highly recommened for anyone wanting to stay near Cambria
You might be wondering why does this casual looking hotel has such great reviews. The hospitality is amazing! We met two different person in the reception and they both were really warm and kind. It is reasonably priced for the service they provide. The rooms were noise proof.
Best motel in the area within its price range. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating, and helped me to make a last minute change to my room type with no issues. Service was excellent and the hotel has a nice ocean view. Great location, very close to the elephant seal vista point and hearst castle.
What a gem. Amazing location for a really good deal. Rooms are nice and big and very clean, lots of parking. The owner was warm and friendly. Just across the street, great place ocean access and nice place to sit and relax. Lots of toy and legos were bonus:)
Getting married at Coast Riders Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
