Our stay at the Coastal Chateau in Ocean City, NJ was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were blown away by how beautiful and thoughtfully designed everything was. The rooms were absolutely stunning—bright, airy, and tastefully decorated with calming coastal tones.
Coastal Chateau is a true gem! You can tell how every single detail was thoughtfully designed. It is gorgeous and absolutely clean in every space. The rooms are quiet and we did not hear anyone walking in the hallways or above us. The beds were absolutely comfortable and the rooms provided true blackout curtains.
Hidden gem. Pristine property with a beautiful lobby and rooms. The coffee and snacks were such a thoughtful touch, and the entire experience felt warm and personal from start to finish. The owners are incredibly attentive and genuinely care about their guests.
I can't say enough good things - what a great location for a girls weekend. The rooms are gorgeous and so well appointed. The whole property is, really. The rooftop deck was a lovely place to do some reading, with water views. We appreciated the readily available coffee and snacks.
Getting married at Coastal Chateau
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
