We had our wedding at the Flanders, and they did an incredible job! The hotel is a gorgeous venue for weddings, and from our first tour it stood out as a unique location that would look great in our photos. The food was excellent; we especially enjoyed the dim sum station at our cocktail hour.
The absolute BEST Wedding Venue we could have ever chosen!! Lisa, Molly, and the entire banquet staff went above & beyond for our wedding that we had in December and we could not have been happier! Many of our guests said it was the best wedding that they have ever been to!!
We had an off season stay. It was our first time in OC NJ and it was really interesting to learn about all of the history of The Flanders Hotel. It’s right on the board walk and close to everything. I thought it was cute that they have a tea party event every now and again. Ball rooms were beautiful for events.
This past weekend we celebrated our son and his fiancé’s night before and wedding reception and we can’t say enough about their catering team - all the service we received was top notch and both events ran perfectly.
Getting married at The Flanders Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
