What couples highlight
“We loved that it was so close to the black sand beach and it is off by itself with nothing close nearby, however it's very quiet and the views are beautiful.”

From the reviews
If you enjoy a more 'Off the Beaten Path' experience, this is it! We absolutely loved staying here and can't wait to go back. It is so quiet. No cars, no construction, no traffic, just peace. You'll need to bring supplies with you because there isn't anything near by.
We absolutely loved our stay at this oceanfront condo! The location is unbeatable—waking up to the sound of the waves and having those panoramic ocean views right from the balcony was pure bliss.
This is one of our favorite timeshare locations. Located in a fairly remote part of Hawaii, the beauty of the area and the rural location is wonderful. The location is within walking of the Punalu'u black sand beach. This is a site frequented by sea turtles.
We love this place! It is the second time we've stayed here. It is very secluded and quiet. It is a quick walk to the Punalu'u Black Sand Beach, but there really isn't anything commercial here for miles (there are several restaurants about 15 minutes' drive away, a small hospital in the opposite direction 10 minutes…
Getting married at Colony I at Sea Mountain
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
