The drive was nice with some great views. When you arrive it's $10 to get in, there is a little souvenir shop with some local items for sale, and local coffee from a farm right up the street. The gardens had quite a bit to see and a great view of the ocean on the bottom.
So pretty. Worth the money for even just the entrance area. Full of geckos and tropical birds. Huge blooming flowers. Cute fountains with fish. Little statues covered in gentle moss. Whole area is tipped down, so you can see the ocean in the distance. Friendly little bird was very talkative. Small butterfly garden.
Walking through these gardens felt like finding a secret, peaceful world that I never wanted to leave. It is incredibly quiet and lush, with beautiful little paths that seem to lead to a new surprise around every corner.
This is my favorite place on the whole island. It’s super peaceful and incredibly beautiful. It is a great place to just sit and breathe. The garden hosts representation of many statues and icons from various faith beliefs. It’s very educational and the galaxy garden is quite remarkable.
Getting married at Paleaku Gardens Peace Sanctuary
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
