Where do I begin to describe how unique and intimate this venue is for any special event or intimate wedding? The venue exudes charm and offers an open concept that allows you to bring your dream vision to life.
Great venue. These women could not be any nicer. What a treat to have a facility with this kind of amicable hospitality in Orange County. Was there for the Dana Point Film Festival and it was such a great time and venue.
We held a Celebration of Life at Community House, Dana Point Women's Club and it was perfect. We had about 70 people in attendance and that was a great space for that amount using round tables. Obviously, theater style seating would fit quite a bit more. So many of our guests commented about how lovely the venue is.
The Dana Point Community House has a wonderful new look for 2024. The venue is fresh and conveys a welcoming open atmosphere. Management was accommodating to all needs requested. The venue is a very good value for downtown Dana Point. The rental transaction is straightforward.
Getting married at Community House, Dana Point Women’s Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
