This hotel is truly a hidden gem! From start to finish, the service was exceptional. Pablo in Catering provided a level of attentiveness and care that exceeded every expectation; anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. His professionalism and hospitality were nothing short of five-star.
Great experience. Supervisor Jeff was very accommodating. PRO TIP!! If you have the option to book your stay as a CALIFORNIA VACATION do it. It includes parking ($55 a day value plus $40 a day food and beverage credit). Amazing location as well!! Thank you Jeff and all the team at Garden Inn Doheny Beach!!
Incredible location. Excellent views. Room smelled like methane or something. I assume from the drains? IDK. It was bothersome. Fortunately flawless weather and ocean breeze means i left the sliding door open all night. Room was fine other than the smell. Will stay here again for sure.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
