We were here for a weekend conference (3/13-15/26). Everything was spectacular! Room was spacious with a patio adjacent to the pool. Staff were gracious and friendly, made us feel valued from the moment we arrived. Food service was superior, everything was delicious and abundant. Grounds are immaculate and lush.
Beautiful location just off the beach in Dana Point. The property is very open with plenty of room to walk and enjoy the great scenery and is just minutes away from the beach. The property has multiple pools for adults and kids.
The Laguna Cliffs Marriott is a beautiful property perched above the Dana Point coastline and a regular recommendation for clients visiting south OC. The views over the harbor and Pacific are exceptional, and the resort amenities make it a complete destination.
This hotel is putting in a new pool so yes construction that they can’t help. But it will be nice in the end. Overall it’s a bit older but in a fantastic location, with what would normally be beautiful views. The staff especially Ada, and the bell hop (Connor) I think were just amazing. Super nice and accommodating.
Getting married at Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
