From the reviews
Location is great, within walking distance of downtown. This is a home built in 1905 & the original charm of that era is maintained. I, personally enjoy that about the Inn. Better for adults than children. It is a home renovated to an Inn. Therefore, it does not have the soundproofing of modern hotels.
Neat historic inn. Rooms were clean with A/C, WiFi, Smart TV, coffee. Jarrod was wonderful! The location was perfect, walkable to most everything. Nice peaceful place to relax, ride our bikes, browse shops and have those amazing Apalachicola oysters!
Great room in an awesome antique setting. Note that you are in a creaky old place, so pack some understanding and maybe some earplugs as you WILL hear your neighbors. Top floor is best, and you don't want the rooms near the entrance doors.
Getting married at Coombs Inn & Suites
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
