⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unforgettable Stay Right on the Beach! We just spent a few nights at the Edison Beach House, and we are absolutely thrilled. If you are looking for a place where "right on the beach" isn't just a marketing slogan but a reality, this is the spot.
I have stayed here five times over the past three years and every time I leave I know I'll return. Absolutely love, love, LOVE the Edison and I won't stay anywhere else!
This was not our 1st stay at Fort Meyers Beach, but our 1st stay @ Edison Beach House. We loved it. All of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Annie, especially was great!! You can tell she loves her job. The rooms were clean, and we loved having a kitchen and a washer/dryer.
We just returned home from a four-night stay in room 202. We had an amazing experience. This property is absolutely beautiful and well maintenanced. The pool is fantastic. The maintenance gentleman takes excellent care of this splendid property.
Getting married at Edison Beach House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
