The Lighthouse Resort Inn & Suites offers a fun and lively beachside experience with a great location close to Fort Myers Beach. Many guests enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, especially the tiki bar, live music, and pool area, which create a true vacation vibe.
My lovely lady and I had an absolutely awesome time at The Lighthouse Resort Hotel in Fort Myers Beach! The atmosphere was lively from start to finish — the place was jumping with great energy and good people.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom that was freshly redone. It was located within the gated area to the pool. Super convenient to walk right out to the deck chairs. There was a tiki bar right there and another bar on-site that was really popular for their entertainment. Location was amazing!
Our stay here exceeded all our expectations! The staff was friendly and welcoming. We stayed for our anniversary and made sure our stay was as amazing as it could be! It’s across the street from the beach. We had the junior deluxe suite that had its own private driveway and entrance and it was great.
Getting married at Lighthouse Island Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
