Elberta Life Saving Station is a gorgeous Wedding venue in West Michigan across Lake Betsie from Frankfort and nestled within walking distance to Lake Michigan and the beautiful sand beaches. You will not be disappointed when you book your Wedding or Event at the Elberta Life Saving Station!
An absolutely FANTASTIC venue for our son and daughter in law's wedding. Inside becomes outside when they open the huge doors for dancing out on the large deck. Beautifully situated on Betsie Bay, with Lake Michigan in the distance.
We absolutely love the Elberta Life Saving Station! It's so picturesque!! It was an amazing price and we were able to customize our wedding completely. Plus the woman who rents it out, Kristi, is absolutely wonderful! We ended up hiring her as our wedding planner and florist as well.

As a photographer, I was blown away by the natural beauty of the location, which provided endless opportunities for capturing amazing photos. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful and unique setting for their wedding day.
Getting married at Elberta Life Saving Station
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
