From the reviews
I recently spent a weekend at Endeavor Point in Benedict, MD, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location is breathtaking, with a beautiful private beach and a pier perfect for fishing or watching the sunset.
We visited a few weeks ago. We were in the area angain and our kids wanted a beach area to swim. I reached out to the owner, she was very accommodating and even slip our boat and enjoy the day. The views are breathtaking. I encourage anyone who visits to explore the ground, you can find secluded areas to enjoy.
Endeavor Point is a Paradise! Everything about this place is magnificent, starting with the hostesses, Sophie and Beth. Communication with both was great from booking to leaving.
Fantastic camping ground that is so close to DC. We came up for one night mid September, the place was clean, safe with plenty to do. They have a fishing pier, we went stand up paddling, swimming and windsurfing on top of your usual camping activities.
Getting married at Endeavor Point
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
