Spectacular concert (Evanescence) on Saturday night at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion! It wasn’t as bad as we expected, as far as finding a parking spot, and we found a parking lot that charged $30. The venue, the staff, the crowd and the show ~ all amazing. Overall, an unforgettable experience! 💫
I've seen a handful of concerts here over the years and never had a bad experience yet. It's a large concert venue so expect to pay out the butt for everything. When the weather is nice the fact that the rear of the venue is open to the grass is really nice. That's also where you can get tickets really cheap.
Technically sitting just across the river in Camden, this operates as one of the premier outdoor venues in the entire Philly orbit. The acoustics and energy here act like a sonic chameleon.
I've been coming to the waterfront since it was put in, however many years ago. It's a fantastic indoor/outdoor venue with seating under a pavilion if you prefer that and a giant hill outside where you can watch your concert as well.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
