After reading about the rich history of Gloria Dei, and that they do non-traditional weddings, I knew my (then) fiance and I had to get married here. My inquiry was met with swift response from Christine who became our contact person/coordinator.
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony at Gloria Dei this past April and couldn’t be happier with the turnout of everything. From start to finish, Christine, Rev. Chris and Candy were extremely helpful along the way making sure we have everything in order. They made the whole planning process painless and just easy!
We had our wedding here and it was an absolutely fabulous experience. The church staff were wonderful and the lighting and decor in the church were perfect for photos. Highly recommend having your wedding with Gloria Dei

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
