A great place for a no muss, no fuss stay. Rooms are dormitory style. Each room has an A/C unit, tv, and in room sink. The bathrooms are shared but clean and well stocked. The café has delicious drinks. The grounds are beautiful to walk around, and there is a great local gift shop in town stocked by local artists.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. Very nice place. We booked a room with a private bath and it had everything we needed. Building and grounds are very neat, clean and peaceful. Really like the history of the place, plenty of room to relax down stairs or in the garden. We will definitely stay here again.
Getting married at Garden Grove Retreat & Lodging

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
