From the reviews
Last spring I had my wedding reception here. Ms. Rebecca was wonderful and made this process super enjoyable. Everything was amazing and the view of the beach was out of this world. The space is perfect for all types of events and need I mention the convenience of the hotel rooms.
A beautiful place to have your event. The views over the ocean are unbelievable from the event center and having two floors allows for plenty of room to adapt the space to any specific needs. We had our wedding reception in this venue and it was perfect.
The Grandview Event Center is an awesome venue to host your party or event. Pirate Fest is right around the corner and our pre party was epic! This pirate gathering is an annual event. All our pirate brethren enjoyed extra strong grog and tasty tropical drinks!
I first heard about The Grand View at Hotel Tybee from a friend that likes to visit. She knew I was looking for a beautiful venue and recommend me looking into The Grand View. I am so happy I did, it was stunning. The view was amazing, it has huge windows that over looked the beach/ocean.
Getting married at Grandview Event Center at Hotel Tybee
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
