Came here on vacation for my brothers wedding! The rooms were nice! I loved that the hotel was right there on the beach! The front receptionists were very nice and friendly! The wedding reception was in the grand view and it had such a beautiful view of the beach while we were dancing!
My stay at Hotel Tybee was great! It’s an older hotel with an interesting history, love knowing it’s been a part of Tybee vacations for so long! My rom was clean, everything I needed. The location is great, loved the availability of the bicycles! It would be great for families with the pool and splash pad.
I am a Savannah resident and we go stay on Tybee at least once a year. We recently spent a few nights at Hotel Tybee for the first time and everyone in my family loved every minute, great location on Tybee, pretty much everything worth doing on Tybee is within walking distance.
Trip was very very happy one! My son swam in the ocean for the first time! We loved the pool and tiki bar with the happy, and chill music provided by Jess and the happy little daquri drinks she made. Overall wonderful expirienve in the sun and water. We love Tybee island! 🏝️ it felt like waking up in a dream.
Getting married at Hotel Tybee
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
