From the reviews
We glamped here in our camper for Mother's Day Weekend. We stayed in site 68 and it was very nice. Very clean, spacious sites. We had partial hook-up, water & power. They do have one dump station and can get busy. The bathrooms and showers are very clean. We did some exploring and took Beach Trail #1.
What a peaceful and relaxing place! It’s so quiet and clean — just perfect for a weekend getaway. I shared a few videos because the surroundings are just too beautiful not to! The restrooms were impressively clean too, which made the whole experience even more comfortable.
One of our favorite beaches, and we got the chance to camp this summer in a yurt. Very well kept park, easy access to the beach, and our site was amazing. Can't wait to come back next summer.
We absolutely love this state park. The loop set ups are great for privacy and big trailera. The park is always clean and taken care of. We used to go to Oregon and do the coast but haven't gone since we found this park. The conscience of driving right onto the beach and finding your own oasis is FANTASTIC.
Getting married at Grayland Beach State Park
Grayland Beach State Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
