From the reviews
Very pretty area. We had our sister's wedding here. Management was an amazing help and we couldn't be happier. The rooms are nicely laid-out, updated, and very clean. The event space is large, with views of the beach. The kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms are spacious. Everything was clean.
Great hidden gem! Staff is friendly and helpful; views are amazing; rooms are quaint, clean and have comforts like a fridge, microwave/convection oven, and a mini fridge/freezer. Perfect for a girls trip or a romantic getaway! Casino offers free shuttle to and from the Motel. HOT TUB IS SPECTACULAR!!!
This place is great. Very helpful staff and beautiful, remote and peaceful location. Great spot for birdwatching over the bay. I love the spacious units with separate bedroom, electric fireplace and practically a full kitchen (minus the oven/stove).
Difficult to review. All good, no complaints, but we did not take full advantage of all its possibilities (swimming pool, hot tub). This might be a good place to have a family reunion, wedding or the like. Have an adjacent events center. Staff very helpful. $20 discount with players card from nearby casino.
Getting married at Tradewinds On The Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
