This place is amazing! Great location and everyone here was very friendly. The desk woman Phoenix was very sweet and always wanted to make sure we have everything we needed. She is a big reason why we are going to come back! She made us feel wanted and appreciated for staying at this location.
A lovely hotel! A beautiful lake side room with a broad view of Lake Michigan. Pictures don't do it justice as it's January with the "Michigan grays" (cloud cover). This is the first Hampton I've stayed in with a restaurant on the 5th floor. Yes, I would return.
Nicest Hampton in I have ever seen. Newly built in 2023. Amazing Lake Michigan views. Management was exceptional. All questions and needs answered. The Lake view rooms are great but everyone has access to the restaurant on the tip floor and outside the bar, Adirondack chairs and beach are spectacular.
Beautiful area. Right across from lake Michigan. Outdoor bar and fire pits. Walk across a small street and you are at a large beach area. The hotel has rooms facing the lake which is a treat. The on site restaurant is very good.
Getting married at Hampton Inn & Suites Manistee Waterfront
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
