From the reviews
Off the beaten path into luxury..... We took the road to Hana to get here and that was an experience on its own. I saw a lot of posts that state the rooms are dated... they are absolutely gorgeous.
The property is fantasticlyly breathtaking. Love all the food trucks and hiking nearby. The road further south is incredible, do not miss it!! Only thing was we had to kill 20 mosquitos everyday to be able to sleep anxiety free and we still got dined on. Cleaning people should keep the doors closed when they're inside.
Staying here was the highlight of my entire trip. The resort is tucked away in such a beautiful, serene location that it felt like a true escape from everything else. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, and the room itself was peaceful and perfectly kept.
This place is magic. What an amazing resort. Beautiful & authentic to this special area but also really nice. The bungalows are huge with amazing view. The main pool is stunning & heated & 24hrs. The rooms are a bit dated but, I can’t imagine what it takes to update something in this remote of an area.
Getting married at Hana-Maui Resort, a Destination by Hyatt Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
