Location, location, location! Kauai’s Na Pali Coast is a special place and it’s hard to find any place closer to stay than the Hanalei Colony Resort. Everyone else may be driving 60-90 minutes to get there and try to score very limited parking at Tunnels Beach or catch a shuttle to Ke’e Beach and/or the Kalalau Trail,…
It's worth getting a beach facing room you can sleep with the windows open and hear the ocean and there's enough wind that it's super comfortable at night. So we could make food after going to the hanalei market. Wonderful little spot for a vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hanalei colony resort. The staff was amazing! I made a mistake booking something, and they worked frantically to make sure that we made it. The shuttle service is an amazing perk that you should definitely take advantage of.
Getting married at Hanalei Colony Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
