From the reviews
If cleanliness is next to Godliness, this place is heaven on earth. Our stay at the Hilo Beach House was fantastic. Our views were great and the unit was so clean and perfect for two. We loved the sound of the ocean at night. The Inn is close to downtown's Farmer's Market and great, fresh restaurants.
My wife and I stayed two nights at the Hilo Beach House Inn on Oct. 18 and 19. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience there and would gladly go back. The owner, Chris, met us upon arrival. He was very personable and friendly.
Highly recommend! Great spot on the Big Island. This is a small Hotel that's just right for someone looking for a quiet escape. The quality of materials was excellent- none of the cheep "builder" grade you get at other locations. There are double walls between rooms providing excellent sound proofing.
This sanctuary-like setting is immaculately clean and comfortable. We love all the special details and unique decorations. Renee is a lovely host, as well. She went above and beyond to offer us activities and her communication was perfect.
Getting married at Hilo Beach House Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
