From the reviews
I was invited by a member of the Hilo Rotary Club to support a fundraiser and the event was being held at the Hilo Yacht Club. It was a prestigious honor to be invited, honestly, I felt overwhelmed and unsuitable to attend.
The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The view is breathtaking and right on the ocean. The only downside is no AC and can get hot and humid. If you like an open air restaurant then you will enjoy this place.
Lovely private club by the beach. A friend invited me for an incredible day of working out, water aerobics, and lunch by the ocean. Relaxing good times! Great views.
Private Club, Dining, Meeting, Event facility in Hilo Hawaii. What a great place! Service is Great. Food is Decent, Location and Ambiance is OFF THE CHARTS! IF you don't know about this place you will be hard pressed to find it.
Getting married at Hilo Yacht Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
