Staying at the Hob Knob Hotel on Martha’s Vineyard felt less like a typical hotel visit and more like being welcomed into a beautifully kept coastal home where everything just runs smoothly.
12 out of 10! We just spent 5 days at the Hob Knob and ABSOLUTELY LOVED our stay! The property is meticulously maintained and the indoor areas are very charming. They also offer all the wonderful amenities - bike rentals, fresh baked cookies, coolers and beach equipment etc.
We felt so welcome throughout our stay at Hob Nob in Edgartown. Our elegant room was cozy and had so many nice touches. We enjoyed made-to-order breakfasts in their lovely dining room, and especially appreciated Hob Nob's location on Main Street - walking distance to the beach and harbor. Highly recommend!
Getting married at Hob Knob
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
