From the reviews
The Harborside Inn is lovely! We stayed in a 2nd floor room at the Chappaquiddick House with a king bed and a balcony overlooking beautiful Edgartown Harbor and Chappaquiddick. The room itself is very pretty, and the view of the active harbor is absolutely spectacular!
Beautiful location on Edgartown Harbour This resort is an absolute gem directly located on the active harbor . Watch all the waterfront action from the Adirondack chairs as graceful sloop's glide by,lobster boats and stunning sleek yachts.
This place is beautifully kept, wonderfully served and a delight to be in for a week. Small rooms (old New England spaces) but very tasteful. We faced the side street and were right off the stairs but we weren’t bothered by any noises.
Fantastic location on the water with gorgeous views of the harbor and also right in the heart of Edgartown. The service was excellent with friendly staff and lots of extras like nightly s’mores and cookies along with turn down service. The inn doesn’t have a restaurant or bar, which normally would be disappointing.
Getting married at The Harborside Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
